Affiliate disclosure
Public Land Field Guide is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
The site also uses, or may use, other outdoor retailer and brand affiliate programs, including Backcountry, REI, and brand programs such as Patagonia. If you click a link on this site and buy something, the retailer may pay this site a commission. You do not pay more because of that link.
We only link a product when it is the pick on that page. Recommendations are based on field use and research, not on who pays the most. Commission rates do not decide the ranking. We do not accept payment to hide a land-status problem, and we do not sell placements.
Product prices, stock, and specs change. A link may land on a search results page or a product page. Check the retailer’s page before you buy.
This website is informational. It is not legal advice and not an official government publication. Confirm current rules with BLM, Utah DWR, SITLA, and the managing agency before you go.
